Guest Access
-Two story 1,368 sq ft log-built cabin. -Full wrap around covered deck with ramp from parking to main floor. -The deck has lots of seating and is such a great place to enjoy some morning coffee or evening wind down!
Good to know
-2 King Bedrooms on ground floor (no stairs to these) -2 full baths in each King -Loft bedroom is set up with 4 individual twin beds, makes an awesome kids room with a sliding door to close it off. (these are the only stairs) -Hot Tub on deck to soak in! -Ramp from parking to deck and main floor so NO STAIRS to main floor of the cabin, great for those who have trouble fighting steep stairs. (Please note the upper loft does have stairs) -The kitchen is very well stocked with cooking and baking essentials including an air fryer and crockpot to make dinner as easy as possible after a long day of fun! -There is a gas griddle on the back deck. We don't monitor the gas level, however if it does need refilled I can usually have my handyman run a tank up or there are 2 grocery stores about 15 minutes away and we will reimburse the cost to exchange it.
Other Details to Note
-The resort pool opens Memorial Day weekend for the summer and closes after Labor Day weekend! -Douglas Lake Resort offers a resort boat dock that you would have access to. -The lake is lowered in the fall and the boat launch also is typically open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. If you plan to bring a boat, reach out to confirm if lake level is full enough to launch. -Or you can rent from the marinas on the other side of the lake for some tubing fun! NOTE: Lake is emptied during winter and is usually full where the boat dock is accessible between Memorial Day to Labor Day as well. -You can fish from the resort boat dock as long as you have the required TN fishing license and your own gear. Check out TNGov for fishing regulations, but 12 and under fish for free, and day passes can be purchased online or at most outdoor stores for anyone else. -The walking path is right across from the Cabin and winds through the woods down to the lake. It is about a 15 minutes' walk through the path and the quiet roads of the resort to the boat dock and pool, or a quick 5 min drive. -We are in Douglas Lake resort -20 minutes to Sevierville -30 minutes to Pigeon Forge -40 minutes to Gatlinburg
